How to use it (read this first)
Open the stand
Fold out the stand and place the heater on a flat, hard floor.
Check the safety switch
The tip-over switch underneath must be pressed down by the floor — if the heater is lifted or falls, it switches off.
Plug in
Use a wall socket directly, not a multi-plug.
Turn the knob
Position 1 lights one rod (400 W); position 2 lights both (800 W).
Switch off
Turn the knob to 0 and unplug when you leave the room.

Use it safely: keep the heater at least 1 metre away from curtains, bedding, sofas, clothes and paper, and never cover it or dry clothes on it. Plug it straight into a wall socket — not a cheap multi-plug or a long extension board. Stand it on a flat, hard floor, switch it off when you sleep or leave the room, and keep children and pets away from the hot grill. Do not use it in a bathroom or near water.

Frequently asked questions
QHow much electricity does an 800 W room heater use?
0.8 units (kWh) per hour with both rods on, and 0.4 units with one rod. At Rs 60 per unit that is about Rs 48 an hour on full.
QWhy does the heater not turn on?
Most rod heaters have a safety switch underneath. It must be pressed by a flat floor — if the heater is held in the air or stands on a soft carpet, it will not start. Place it on a hard floor and try again.
QQuartz or halogen — which is better?

QDoes it use oxygen?
No. Electric heaters burn nothing, so they do not use oxygen or make carbon monoxide. Keep the room lightly ventilated if the air feels dry.

QIs cash on delivery available?
